My Jeep overheated, and I feared the worst. Christian Brothers Automotive in Tyler quickly found the problem it was simply a radiator cap that hadn’t been put on correctly. They could have easily told me it was something much more expensive, but they were honest and took great care of me. As a woman, I truly appreciated their integrity and the fact that they didn’t take advantage of the situation. The front office staff was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Honest people and outstanding customer service I highly recommend them!

Absolutely outstanding service! This was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences I've ever had with an automotive repair shop. Everyone at Christian Brothers Automotive was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure I understood everything that was being done to my vehicle. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, completed the work in a timely manner, and treated me with honesty and respect. I’m giving 2 stars because they were initially very polite. Got a quote for a transmission service. They gave me 2 options. One was over $600. It included a fluid flush and a filter cleaning agent. The other option was just over $400. It included fluid, filter change, and a new gasket. I approved the cheaper option and scheduled the service. When I arrived, they try to tell me I can’t do one service without the other, saying option 2 didn’t include fluid. I wish I would’ve screenshot the quote, but the url they sent is no longer available. I know what I read. I’m not going to be swindled. This made me get another quote…. The dealership ended up being cheaper.

About two years ago i came into christian brothers to have a cv axle changed. now im not a car/truck guy so i have no clue on pricing, but here i am today july 1st 2026 having both replaced again. i was told they ordered the part from orileys ,fine, and the whole process including an oil change would and did cost me $1200... come to find out they didnt actually replace the cv axle or they bought it from a junk yard because it was a used toyota cv axle... orileys doesnt sell toyota parts and on top of that with the lift on my truck the one they put in was inch and a half too short.. as of today, having BOTH swapped for the correct size ones for my truck i am only being charged $700 at another mechanic shop here in town.. make that make sense.. this tells me Christian brothers have no clue what they are doing as mechanics. they over charge and rip people off. pretty scummy and not very christian if you ask me... i do not recommend going here. good luck if you do..
